Trout Board Co. started the way most good things do. Out of boredom, passion, and a little DIY chaos.

During COVID, I found myself with time on my hands and a head full of ideas. I had always loved skating, even if my skills never quite matched my enthusiasm. So I did what any graphic designer would do. I designed a board instead.

That first deck was as lo-fi as it gets. A sanded down piece of wood, an inkjet printer, name tag sheets with the names peeled off as transfer paper, and a design printed in reverse to press onto the wood. It wasn't perfect, but it fun.

That experiment turned into an obsession, and Trout Board Co. was born. Every deck is still designed by me, built for skaters and collectors who want something original. No templates. No filler. Just art you can ride.
